Worship

Worship at Christ Community Church is relaxed, positive and focused on Jesus Christ. We don’t care what you wear…we just care that you’re there! Worship begins at 10:30 am every Sunday. The chapel seating offers comfortable pews to sit in as you take part in what we hope will be an enriching, empowering and life changing worship service. We strive for every worship experience to be a homecoming to the Lord, providing people the opportunity to re-connect with God and find His purpose for their lives. We ask for the Lord’s presence each Sunday and trust fully that His Holy Spirit is dwelling within and among us as we worship and honor Him.

Classes

Sunday Morning Classes - We precede worship each Sunday with morning classes for everyone, followed by a short time for coffee, cookies and conversation. Our children study Bible stories, and our teens and adults working their way through various studies - always informative, thought-provoking and scriptural. Together we share an inspiring time to learn more about how we can each live our faith in today's world.

Twice we have taken the challenge to read through the whole Bible! We all read 6 pages each day, and then met once a week on Sunday mornings after worship for discussion and encouragement. What a great experience to read the scripture intentionally and in context!

Weeknights

Week Nights are challenging! Each week we meet one evening for study. We have used:
  - a video series by Phil Yancey based on his book The Jesus I Never Knew,
  - did a Focus on the Family Truth Project,
  - ALPHA - a 10 week course in basic Christianity,
  - 4 week course on the Last 24 hours of Jesus' life.

Men's Group

The men of Christ Community Church meet every Friday morning to discuss their faith and the ways it intersects with their lives at work and in the home. A light breakfast is served. All men are welcome! We meet at 7:00 am in our church office Library, located at 2 E. 11th Street, Suite 202 at the corner of Boulevard and 11th Street in Edmond.

Women's Group

The women of Christ Community Church meet every Wednesday morning to study the Bible and to discuss their faith and the ways it intersects with their lives at work and in the home. All women are welcome! We meet at 9:00 am in our church office Library, located at 2 E. 11th Street, Suite 202 at the corner of Boulevard and 11th Street in Edmond.

Older Children and Teens also have a special place at CCC. We have age-appropriate lessons planned for them, and they often take part in special activities together with the younger children. As our church family grows, we look forward to adding weekday activities for our kids as well!

Child Care

We offer infant/toddler care, which is led by Kathleen Kelm, Director of Children’s Ministries at CCC. She makes sure that Sunday mornings are much more than a nursery! Children take part in their own mini worship experience, learn Bible stories and do crafts that relate to and reinforce those Bible lessons.

May we suggest a great book for you to read? Many of our congregation have recently read and enjoyed The Shack by William Young. Eugene Peterson called this book a modern-day Pilgrim's Progress. You will find it to be deeply thought-provoking, and maybe even life-changing!
